Surveillance

Surveillance is the discreet observation of an unaware subject to record their actions, and interactions, to gather evidence; this includes the creation of surveillance journals and supporting footage or still images. What we do is legal.

Background Checks

A background check is conducted where there is suspicion about a person, or simply you don't know. This often relates to a new person coming in contact with children in a child custody situation, a new boyfriend or girlfriend, or something that isn't quite right.

Workcover Investigations

Suspected Workcover fraud, Workers Compensation claim suspicions, investigated by experienced operatives. These investigations may be either factual, surveillance, or a combination of both. Our operatives are experienced. The evidence obtained can be used for either court, or negotiations.

Factual Investigation

Factual investigation is the overt acts of investigating, talking to people, gathering affidavits, making inquiries, documenting evidence and compiling briefs. It can include fraud investigations, child custody, divorce property settlement preparation, as well as criminal or civil defence matters.

Child Custody Investigations

Child custody investigations may be a factual investigation, to gather affidavits supporting you position, or surveillance investigations to show a breach, a difference between what is stated in court and the real situation, to highlight a risk. The Federal Magistrates Circuit Court (Family Law Court) hears many allegations, the difference between an allegation and a fact is generally the evidence supporting it.

Due Diligence and CV Check

An Australian CV verification check is a search for history, including criminal history and civil actions, as well as residential, and reference verification information. Due Diligence checks may relate to business partners, business purchase or prospective employees.

We are available 24/7 to assist

A private investigator will work 24/7, however we generally work an 8 hour day. We need notice to prepare for a task, and for briefing notes to be compiled, as well as reports to be generated at completion. Rushing a job often doesn't generate the outcome the client seeks. We try to be as effective in our response as we can. We have forms which the client completes, before we investigate, which prompt them for information to assist us in doing our task.

As private investigators, private detectives, we investigate for you. Our investigators include ex-police. We cannot generate a particular outcome to an investigation. We must follow where the evidence leads, or record what we observe. This can lead to frustrations where the outcome is not in line with client expectations. This is why we can never promise to achieve a particular objective, we are investigators, observers, researchers. In all these roles we seek information, and evidence, to support a position, but must take what is revealed.
