WorkCover surveillance, Workers Compensation surveillance, outside the workplace, is a large part of fraud investigations. Putting allegations to fraudster, alone, may lead to claims of psychological injury, where you have a scammer. Observation of a subject, recording activities, and actions, inconsistent with the claimed restrictions, gives inconclusive evidence, that either the claim was a sham, or the injured worker is failing to report improvements, and is intending to stretch out, and skim as much money as possible, from the employer. WorkCover fraud is not a victimless crime; the business will pay for a fraudulent claim, for many years, in increased premiums.
