For Government insured, compulsory WorkCover insured, or the privately insured, self insured, once a claim is accepted, the insurer generally becomes a rehabilitation coordinator, with the injured worker as the focus. This actually works well where the worker is honest, the claim correct, and the worker rehabilitates, and returns to work.
